Web 3D Studio

Hello, and a happy new Spring/ Winter/ confused type of season thing. If you live in the UK you have probably been wondering what happened to Spring and if Summer will ever make it, but fear no more because there is some good news: the new Web 3D Studio website has launched, complete with a 3D interactive Norbert the Sheep to fill the hole in the Spring we missed out on. If you live in sunnier climes, you should avoid heat-stroke and spend more time relaxing in front of the new website.

The new site is crammed full of interactive 3D examples and will become more crammed with time as we fill it up with all our latest work. Over the last few months we have been developing new ways to lower the costs of the technology, getting our hands dirty taking Flash 3D to the next level. (Not sure what Flash 3D is? Check out our article on it. I know, we think of everything.) We want the website to be a fun place and to show that Web 3D is not just limited to showcasing high-end electronic goodies (although it's pretty damned good for that too). So come and have a go at painting a sheep and see if you can get yours into the top ten. Also, keep an eye out for our augmented reality demo, coming soon to a (computer) screen near you.
